Filmmaker Evgeny Afineevsky spent 90 days in the Ukraine following the Maiden Revolution in 2014. This project, WINTER ON FIRE, became a critically acclaimed documentary, winning the People’s Choice Award for Best Documentary. FREEDOM ON FIRE: UKRAINE’S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM is a new film project about Ukraine’s fight for freedom. It documents what has happened since 2014, and shows today’s war, including humanity and unity of Ukrainians.
